Well I'm back for one blog post, I'm currently residing at Lee's house and I'm obviously not going to spend every day writing a blog, plus Christmas is now over (boohooo) so any posts I did write would be boring. I'm currently writing this as I watch Megamind, absolutely amazing film! I had a great Christmas and good some good ol' treats including my Filofax (which is currently empty), Liz Earle skin treats, clothes, cookbooks and like 1000 nail varnishes as my sister bought me almost 40 nail art pens and my nan got me a gift set of pretty coloured varnishes and Lee bought me 3. I'm terrible at nail art so will need to get practising before I get anywhere close to posting a picture!
I miss blogging a lot, a lot more than I thought I would, especially due to my lack of blogging conviction in previous posts! I need to catch up on all your posts and have a good nosey at your Christmas goodies!
I always feel a bit out of sorts at this time of year, I never have any idea what day of the week it is, or the actual date. All I know is it is between boxing day and New Years. Speaking of NY I am not it's biggest fan, not at all. Last year I spent it with Charlotte watching Sex and the City 2 and eating left over Christmas chocolate (very close to my idea of heaven). I honestly don't know what all the fuss is about, New Years sets January up to be a month full of hunger (due to dieting resolutions), odd cravings and a sense of disappointment that Christmas is over. I'm not making any resolutions this year, I never keep them and I could do with a guilt free January. Furthermore, the actual New Years Eve night has never filled me with joy, I feel it is almost forced fun 'wooooo yeaaaa bye bye 2011, I'm having so much fun in order to welcome in 2012 with a bang'. I'm sorry to be such a NYE ruiner but I am still bitter that Christmas is over!
I'm now going to comment on everyone's blogs so look out! Service will resume as normal from the 5th (after job centre, the one appointment in my Filofax).
How was your Christmas, what goodies did you get?
How are you spending NY, are you a grump like me?
LOTS OF LOVE, I MISS YOU ALL
I'm glad you had a good christmas and got your filofax! I'm filling mine with mini milestones to help me achieve my new years resolutions :)

ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of NYE! I have NEVER spent NYE without some of my family. If I couldnt go out with them then I probably wouldnt! I sound like such a moron now! ;)
I know what you mean about the lack of motivation with blogging though. I have been a bit like that recently! xxxx
I hope you all have an amazing New Years! Soph I'm extremely jealous you get to get dressed up and disco dance! Oh and Charlotte, your mini goals sound such a good idea! Xxxx
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great Christmas, you can never have too many nail varnishes if you ask me :) I'm not the greatest fan of new year either, i'm working all this weekend anyway so i'll just be staying in! xx
ReplyDeleteVery pretty blog :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Years! I've never really been fussed on it either, all I want is the kiss at midnight and I'm happy lol!

I hear ya...the Christmas hangover is rough. When I went to work today and realized it wasn't a short week, I got depressed. When's our next vacation??
ReplyDeleteGood news!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year everyone! Thank you all for the comments, I hope 2012 is marvellous! I fully agree Leanne, you can never have too many, my nails are so weak from all the colouring/removing! And Gia, I bet it is depressing! Xxxx
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a very merry christmas! Excited to read all your blog updates on your New Years and everything when you're back to blogging! I've been finding it hard to find time to blog too, Christmas was busy and then the rest of my holidays were spent helping my boyfriend move - hectic!
