Ode to the Olympics

[Source]

London 2012 is one to remember
When it's pouring down with rain mid September
Heroes were made, generations inspired
Gold, silver, bronze all desired
The best haul since 1908
I want Mo Farah to be my mate
Phelps, Bolt, Wiggins and Jennis
Showing the world what true sportsmanship is
The nation coming together to support our team
I don't want to wake up from this dream.

*goes off to cry in the corner*
