Weekend Scrapbook

Rimmel's "Man Overboard" and and tiny heart from Essie's "Lovey Dovey"

On Friday we went to The Globe as part of Lee's birthday present to me. We went last year to see The Taming of the Shrew and this time we saw A Midsummer Night's Dream. My favourite cast member from The Taming of the Shrew was back and made me laugh as much as last time. I'm always surprised by how funny the plays are - especially as I'm pretty sure that I don't understand half of what's being said. Lee, way more intellectual than myself, was laughing in all the right places where as I laughed at the more obvious humour... The whole thing was amazing, from the costumes to the acting and even the singing. The only bummer is that we were standing which kills your feet - I thoroughly recommend wearing trainers, no matter how nerdy you look.

Saturday we went for a walk around the parks of Carshalton where Lee's friend lives, it was lovely in the sun. They played catch and I sat there looking super glam (not really, I was in jeans and bitching about my sore feet). Then he cooked us pasta with chorizo and tomatoes and home we went to catch up on New Girl.

The other days I just spent money online, got some new nail varnishes and this skirt from Zara. I was supposed to go to Lee's nan's for dinner on Sunday but wasn't really feeling up to it; pathetic I know and I ended up in my PJs watching Friends and ringing my sister.

 How were your weekends?

  1. ooo your weekend sounds way more interesting than mine, I can't even fully remember what I did..... I shopped =| bad me!
Love the skirt you purchased, its gorgeous and the perfect amount of leather! Just a hint! Love your nails too, the little heart is so cute.
