Burgers & British Museum

Last week I was off work to do some "Life Admin" for mundane things like registering at the doctors, buying a hoover and seeing what all the fuss is about with Breaking Bad.

One day of the week was Lee's birthday, I won't tell you which day as my mum brought me up to believe everyone on the internet will use every piece of information available to stalk me.

We went into London town with the sole purpose of going to Shake Shack for lunch. There was some building work going on to the market building next door so we sat inside the atrium part and scoffed it down. We both got the double burgers, I had mine with bacon and Lee's was with lettuce and tomato. It was delicious, my favourite part being the cheesy chips which were incredible - I'd highly recommend them! However, still not as good as Patty & Bun, which is just off Oxford Street and is the best burger I've had in London.

Afterwards we tried to walk off our food babies, but had no particular aim so wandered the streets of Covent Garden for a while which was nice, before heading over to the British Museum. We didn't really want to go so just sat inside and talked. We had a token walk around the exhibitions but really weren't in the mood so left and headed for home.

In the evening we gorged on junk food and watched TV. Pretty standard weekday night for us...

  5. ahh cool! Glad to see another burger opinion...I went to five guys today which was nice, but not as incredible as I had been led to believe! Everybody says patty & bun is the best but my boyfriend insists honest burger is the one.
decisions, decisions.. melted cheese on anything is incredible though, will have to try those fries sometime! x

  10. Oh Hi! Long time no speak. I bloody love London. I really want to go to Patty and Bun after hearing all the rave reviews. I still haven't got into Breaking Bad and it's been all anyone at work has talked about for around a month now so I'm thinking of getting the box set. xx
